YOGA TO ME...

I started practicing yoga in 2010. I would always do pigeon pose after a run and never knew it was yoga! While recovering from a running injury I started taking more yoga classes and I could feel the positive effects yoga had on my body. Yoga not only helped with the recovery process but also flooded my body with Prana. In 2013 I started to focus more of my energy on yoga, not just for “a good stretch” but also as a source of mindfulness and inner stability. Yoga allows me to be in the present moment and that transfers off of my mat and into every aspect of my life.
I completed my 200hr YTT at the Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness led by Liz Lindh and a 100hr Meditation for everyone teacher training, led by The Boston Buddha, Andrew Kelley. I have also completed a 30hr Yin Yoga teacher training at North End Yoga, directed by Josh Summers, a 20hr Kids Yoga teacher training at Coolidge Yoga with Dawn Keighley, and the Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki I/Reiki II training with Emily Peterson. I am excited to continue my yoga journey and share my knowledge, enthusiasm and love for yoga with others.
